An intimate wine bar at the foot of the South Downs.
Muddy boots always welcome.

I have worked in the hospitality world for over 35 years, in all capacities, I have comeback to my roots in wine and casual fayre. As a female run small business, we aim to provide an inclusive and relaxed atmosphere. We pride ourselves on responsibly sourced food and wine, as natural as possible. For when the base ingredient is thoughtfully farmed, there is no need to mess with it. This ethos follows throughtout Twenty-Seven. All of our paper products and food waste is home composted, and of course, our bottles, card board and wine closures find there way to the recycling centre.

Our wine list consists of over 20 wines including still red, white, skin contact, and of course local sparkling wines. All ranging by the glass from £4.80, for a juicy Nero D' Avola to the extraordinary Sugrue Cuvée Boz Blanc de Blanc for £15.80.

We also provide Hepworth ale and lager, as well as plenty of non-alcohol options.

To compliment our wines, we offer a changing menu of small plates. For example: A choice of local game charcuterie, smoked trout pate, wild boar rillete, or mushroom and sussex brandy pâté. All at £6.

We also offer, to take the edge off, lightly salted Marcona almonds, sun ripened Nocellara olives or a vegan tapanade served with fresh crostini. These range from £2 to £4.40
